1. Who we are
FreeForStudent ("we", "us") operates this website. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact saadecommeres@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message.
- If you submit an offer, we receive the details you send about that offer.
- We do not run user accounts, we do not ask for student documents, and we do not process payments.
Information collected automatically
- Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (city level), referring page and pages viewed.
- Data stored locally in your own browser — such as your saved deals and your light/dark theme choice — using localStorage. This stays on your device unless you clear it.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and localStorage for:
- Essential: remembering your cookie choice and your display preferences.
- Analytics: understanding which pages and offers are useful, in aggregate.
- Advertising: showing ads and limiting how often you see the same one.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies globally in your browser preferences.
4. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense and partners)
This site may display advertising served by third parties, including Google. In that case:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
- Where required by law, we ask for consent before non-essential advertising cookies are set, and we do not serve personalised ads to users who decline.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use non-personalised advertising technologies; their own privacy policies govern their processing.
5. Affiliate links
Some links to brands are affiliate links and include a tracking parameter so the brand can attribute a signup to us. When you click one, the destination site's privacy policy applies. We do not receive your personal data from those brands beyond aggregate commission reports.
6. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and for newsletter emails.
- Legitimate interests in keeping the site secure, understanding aggregate usage and improving our content.
- Contract where you ask us to do something, such as replying to your email.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by that law — we do not sell personal information. Email us to make a request and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request and any record keeping we are legally required to do. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider; aggregated reports may be kept longer because they do not identify you.
9. Children
This site is aimed at students, most of whom are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version.
