What this log means
A review means the listing and its material conditions were compared with a first-party brand, support, education or programme page on the date shown. It does not mean FreeForStudent opened an account, completed a purchase or tested eligibility in every country. Brands remain responsible for final eligibility, checkout price and renewal terms.
Current review cycle
- All 41 published destinations recheckedEvery card points to an official source. No confirmed 404 destination remained. Responses blocked by anti-bot or rate-limit systems are recorded as inconclusive rather than labelled broken.
- Billing language strengthenedTrials, recurring subscriptions and institution-provided access are separated from permanent public free tiers. Headspace and Apple Creator Studio now show their material renewal conditions more explicitly.
- Country claims made conservativeListings use “United States only”, “selected countries or institutions” or “broad international availability”. The last label is a starting point, not a promise that every jurisdiction is supported.
- Initial catalogue reviewSixty candidate entries were examined. Nineteen were withheld or removed when a current first-party student programme, reliable terms, or an appropriate destination could not be established. Forty-one remained after the source and disclosure review.
When a listing is changed or removed
A listing is corrected when the official source changes price, duration, eligibility, geography, verification, card requirements or renewal behaviour. It is removed when the programme ends, the destination is confirmed unavailable, or the claim can no longer be supported by a suitable first-party source.
How to report a change
Send the brand name, official page URL and the wording that appears wrong through the contact page. Do not send passwords, payment details or student identity documents. The editorial standard is explained in the Editorial & Verification Policy.
